About Tame & Tend

Growing up in Somerset, with an award-winning horticulturist mum, I’ve been passionate about gardening since I was 4.

My horticultural studies began with a 2 year National Trust apprenticeship. I was blessed to work at two beautiful Arts and Crafts gardens with a variety of planting that gave me a strong foundation in organic ornamental and productive gardening. I left with a distinction in my Level 2 Horticulture qualification, and after a short-term internship at Monet’s Garden, I went on to work as Senior Gardener at the Ruskin Mill Trust. I managed and designed a Natural Dye Garden and many residential gardens across the property and implement the large Lakeside Valley Garden renovations and planting.

Subsequently, I decided to start Tame & Tend to share the joy of  beautiful gardens with people like you. I believe everyone deserves an outdoor space that they love. It is my aim to make plants accessible and joyful for everyone!
