Terms & Conditions
We would love to work with you on your garden - here are our Terms & Condtions:
Tame & Tend require 48 hours notice if you wish to cancel a garden visit. Outside of this notice, the full time allocated to your visit will be payable. This doesn’t apply if the weather makes gardening impossible.
Tame & Tend are not responsible for any damage caused to hidden/buried pipes, irrigation tubes, garden lighting, soil pipes or drains.
Tame & Tend use email, text and WhatsApp as means of invoicing, quotation and bookings. All agreements and contracts sent via any of these must be accepted and are subject to our terms and conditions.
Any previously agreed (verbally or electronically) plants or garden materials bought on behalf of clients must be paid for in full by the client.
Once plants are in your garden, you are responsible for their care. There are many factors that contribute to successful growth. All plants are bought in good faith.
Payment is due within 14 days of each invoice sent.
Clients must ensure all lawns and work areas are clear of pet waste prior to the gardener's arrival. If pet waste is present in the work area, this may delay or prevent gardening work. A £20 surcharge will be added if Tame & Tend are required to clear pet waste to work. Tame & Tend reserve the right to skip areas heavily contaminated by pet waste.
For ongoing or recurring services (fortnightly or more frequent), we kindly request at least two weeks' notice if you wish to pause or end our regular agreement. While this notice period is not legally binding, it helps us manage our schedule and fill open slots for other clients.
